Iberoamerican Theater Festival of Bogotá
Created in 1988 by Fanny Mikey and Ramiro Osorio they created because of the celebration of the 450th anniversary of the founding of Bogotá, became a cultural adventure and is the artistic integration of Latin American countries in the world.
Today is one of the performing arts festivals in the world .Leading companies from five continents have participated,
you can enjoy the Festival in the  street performances, theater halls, dance, circus, performance, pantomime, concerts, workshops and conferences.this event is every two years. It is the cultural event of the highest importance in Colombia and one of the performing arts festivals in the world. It comes in halls, parks, streets, plus the Bullring, the Coliseum El Campin, the Palacio de los Deportes and Corferias.

Thematic Parks

A Thematic Park is an amusement park that is organizedaround some theme as the world of tomorrow.
These are some of the most recognized parks in bogota:

MALOKA:

The Interactive Center of Maloka has 9 rooms with thematic exhibition, as well as 300 interactive modules, a gigantic format Cinema Dome, offering projected films among which include "Vertigo, Ocean Wild and Everest ". In the night from Friday to Sunday and Holidays is offering a show of water sources.

 World Adventure Park and Magic Salitre offer visitors spaces designed for fun and recreation in a sectioned, some areas are special for children, filled with playgrounds, other areas so they can share skills in games created for the whole family , extreme rides for those who like adventure and anything extreme.

Bulevar Niza mall Thematic park:
It is situated at the semi-basemant of the Bulevar niza mall this is a world of fun they have a lot of games and childish rollercoasters. I went to this park and i really had fun with my friends we played a lot of things and we laugh a lot.
I recomend yoyu to come to this árk to bring your kids cousins etc.

                                

       

Bogota is sub-divede in differnt neighborhoods but there are ones where the important events are desarrollated.

La candelaria is a historic neighborhood in downtown of bogota . It is the old city of  bogota  in other cities. The architecture of the old houses, churches and buildings has a colonial  style. It have  houses several universities, libraries and museums.



Usaquen  is a residential and commercial locality (district) in northern Bogota , capital of Colombia. Although it is designated on maps as Bogotá's #1 locality, it was a separate municipality of Cundinamarca until 1954, when it was annexed into the city. Today, Usaquén is home of more than 480.000 inhabitants as projected by 2008. The cordillara orienta forms a natural border to the east.

Is the home stadium of Equidad Seguros F.C.The stadium holds 7800 spectators, the opening of this stadium was on 1959 it is located in the Capital of Colombia "Bogota". The nickname of this stadium is "Goles en paz". Estadio Metropolitano de Techo is a multi-use stadium . It is currently used mostly for soccer matches. The owner and operator of this stadium is the IDRD. 
The stadium has been recently remodeled, and before it was constructed there was an airport and a racetrack. It is located at the righ side of the Thematic park "Mundo Aventura", its also near to the mall "Las Americas" it is easy to acces to it because the system of "Transmilenio" is near to it.

The stadium is located at south-west of the city it was constructed near the airport of "techo". In 1994 this stadium was used for the Sudamerican championship sub 23 of soccer. In wich in the final Colombia won beating the nation of Uruguay.

In 2007 after the rise of Equidad Seguros to the first A category of professional soccer in Colombia this stadium become into their home stadium. In other words the home stadium of Equidad is the " Estadio Metropolitano de Techo".

Equidad Seguros has not played the final phases of the national championship on their stadium for motives of safety and capacity of the stadium so they moved to the stadium of "Santa fe and Millonarios" also knowed as "El campin".

I went to see a match last sunday Santa fe the best versus Chico Santa fe who is the actual champion won the game. Here are some images and a video.
   

 

Bogotá colonial 

Bogota is the capital of Colombia and it was founded by Gonzalo Jimenez De Quesada the sixth of august of 1538 at this time at Santa fe ( Bogota) many people where living that whe of different cultures like "criollos, sipanish people, mestizos and many important people of that time.

Modern history

We think that the modern histroy of Bogota satrts at the 1900 years ago  when Jorge Eliecer Gaitan was  death becouse is the event when the hystory of bogota,, bogata cganche their way of thinking.

At the year 1951 the bogota trail way was taken out of service for the idea of the mayor Fernando Mazuera  


  

one of the most important creations of bogota is the stadiom that was founded in the 14 of august 1931. Mr nemesio camacho el campin donate the lands where the stadium take place it is nowdays open and it is used for tow soccer teams "Millonarios FC and Independiente Santa Fe".


"El aeropuerto internacional el Dorado" the airport was founded by the president gustavo rojas pinila and its cunstruction starts in 1955 and it finished at 1959 it is one of the most important airports of latinamrica. Recntly it was restored
